Established in 2001, the .NAME universal top-level extension is the single TLD supposed to be for personal web pages only. These domains can include personal or fictitious names, aliases and/or other titles people are known by. At the beginning, just 3rd-level registrations were allowed, so if you wanted to secure john.doe.name, you were supposed to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were liberalized and second-level registrations were also allowed. Already taken 3rd-level domain names remained operational.

You will have the opportunity to modify the WHOIS details, to park your domain, to modify Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an already registered domain to our firm if you get its EPP transfer authorization key from the present registration service provider and we will renew it after the transfer has been completed.
